I still am in desperate need of getting this. Maybe I will tomorrow instead of Sonic and the Black Knight, 'cause that was supposed to suck to high heaven. Also, on the note of the indie scene, I'll advertise here: WORLD OF GOO. Buy the damn game. It's a fucking AWESOME game, probably second best on WiiWare (and that's only because the super fepic Megaman 9 exists), developed almost entirely by TWO PEOPLE. Sadly, the game has been pirated...a ton. Really. So do those two indie guys a favor and buy World of Goo! Ahem. |

I agree, games just aren't as good these days. Nintendo's too focused on drawing in their "casual, non-gamer" audience that they forgot about their hardcore audience of gamers. Most of the games on the Wii are based around the whole motion-sense thing. They put so much energy into this appealing gimmick that they can't make a regular game anymore. They don't care about quality games- they care about money. I no longer own my Wii because it'd been untouched for months while I'd been playing my N64 and SNES. I no longer own my DS because I'd rather play my GBC games. I stopped caring about what new games are coming out or what the new systems being developed are. I don't even know what the new DS is called. Old games are just better in my opinion. |

Yeah i gotta agree with you, but i still use my Wii when i have friends over, so it isn't going anywhere. My DS is secure, because it is the only nintendo system that has potential to get more good games, like GTA CHINATOWN WARS! anyway, these are dire times for Nintendo gamers, I personally think that nintendo has successfully reclassified the Wii from console to a lifestyle item. What N64 games you playing? |

Yeah, Yosh, I can understand the whole selling the Wii part...but selling the DS? Bad choice, in my opinion. Of course the GBC games are better than the DS ones, but DS games are in no way bad; hell, I can think of a pretty good number of awesome DS games released in, say, the past year. Sad part about the list being the scarce amount of first-party games, though... -The World Ends With You -Final Fantasy...IV? (the one released over the summer, whichever one that was) -Kirby Super Star Ultra (first-party, but a remake) -Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon (see above) -Henry Hatsworth -GTA: Chinatown Wars ...among others. Not to mention that the future's looking pretty good too. So I'd stick with my DS either way. I'm mainly only keeping my Wii at this point for 1) the few awesome games on it, 2) Virtual Console and WiiWare, and 3) both confirmed and unconfirmed games to look forward to (anyone else psyched about the new A Boy and His Blob? =D). |

Well I guess I still like videogames, I'm just not for all the bullshit going on this generation. I just beat Okami and it's the greatest gaming experience I've had this generation, no lie. The thing is that it's a port from the PS2, but it still counts since it's now on a current gen system. But yeah, old games were alot better, and that's not just my nostalgia glasses getting in the way; they were just made better. Although the whole GBC > DS thing is just silly. |

Right now I'm mostly playing Majora's Mask. Troy, I do agree that the DS did well and also has a bright future, but none of those games really appeal to me. A lot of those are remakes and I'd rather get the real game. The only game I really regret not spending enough time with on my DS is Phantom Hourglass. I did enjoy my DS for the time that I had it, but I hadn't touched it in ages, and with my eye on a new bass, I needed the money. |

Yeah, Ninty's not going anywhere lately. I haven't touched any video games in over a month, and I REALLY need money as of late, since I still don't have my license because my parents are refusing to pay for the insurance...I really can't see myself holding onto my Wii much longer. Although I'll keep my DS. There's still a lot of good games, and if I sold it, I would have to change my screen name here. I doubt I will get the next-gen Nintendo stuff though. |

but you'll still keep up the forum... cause I mean it's not like we talk about Nintendo much these days except for how much they're throwing away all their fans. I am currently playing GTA:CW and Fable, Fable is lots of fun, and when i beat it i might even get fable 2... If you still are wanting to play video games and are frustrated with ninty i suggest getting a 360, coming from someone who was considered by others (and I guess probably was) a fanboy, 360 is a great system for all the things nintendo leaves out |
