I WILL update this thread further later, since I don't have much time for a full blow-out at the moment. But, 'lo and behold: -DSi confirmed, features camera, SD Card compatibility, DS Shop, and more. No more GBA slot however. November 2008 in Japan. -Ability to download games from Wii Shop directly to SD Card and quicker transportation between SD Card and Wii internal memory in Spring 2009. -"Wii Want to Play" line, reviving games from the Gamecube (ex. Pikmin) and porting them to the Wii. I may have understood this wrong, however. -Footage of many confirmed games was shown. |

Well their press site suffice? And yeah. A little more info to add to what was already said, by me or by others: -Seven Play It on Wii games confirmed: Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, Chibi Robo, Mario Power Tennis, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 2. Each will be updated with Wii controls and will be sold for a budget price. (Metroid Prime 1 and 2 + Wii controls = nerdgasm from Meta, I'm sure) -Club Nintendo, previously Japan only, will debut in NA by years end (OH HELL YES). As for the solution...I think it'll do for the time being. At least until the next iteration of Wii (I've heard rumors it'll be call Wii HD, no lie). EDIT: Wait a sec. I just reread that press release. Does it not say that MARIO & LUIGI 3 WILL RELEASE IN 2009? OH HELLLLLLLL YEA. EDIT AGAIN: Forgot to mention, new WiiSpeak channel, to just...TALK with other people. Again, very convenient. Damn, I've gotta say, this event was a HELLUVA lot better than E3. |

well this topic wants to make me cry so much, why are the wii's so hard to get? can't wait till i get my license...(that day maybe tomorrow!) then my get job and me get wii and new DS ^_^....DAMN!!!!!! i'll have to lose 20 bucks of my first paycheck which i just now remembered...DAMN YOU EMOHOG_SPAWN!!! lol |
