I've said this before: Nintendo's milked about all they can out of Mario and Zelda (and Pokemon too; I highly doubt I will be into the next generation). They need to move on to the franchises that have been pushed aside, and they also need to create some new, original ideas, such as that Captain Rainbow guy.

They haven't milked all they can from Mario. They NEVER will. Mario will ALWAYS be a top-seller, that's not gonna change for a looooong long time. Zelda might be different, seeing as it doesn't exactly appeal to kids, and therefore may lose its spark...but even this won't happen for some time, I don't think. As for Pokemon, see Mario. I DO agree with you about everything else, though. Although I personally don't think they'll do too much of that, when those top three franchises are still top-selling, even if for the time being. It's all about the money, you see.

It's been far too long since they brought out some actual stellar games. Y'know? I really think that the last classic games that they made came out for the N64, all those moons ago. Ah well. Hopefully they'll pick up the pace again sometime soon! Meanwhile, I'm SUPER excited about Mirror's Edge. It looks such an interesting game.
