Hey there, I'm working on a project for Halo 1/2 where you'll basically be traveling through 3D versions of 2D worlds from NES games... I know most of you won't really be able to ever play the project in the end, but... I figured since this is The NINTENDO zone... you'd have some fond memories of the NES... What are your top 8 NES games and what is the most memorable moment in the game? If you can't come up with 8 that's fine. I'm just looking for suggestions here  oh... here have a model for this museum thing I'm workin on.  ignore that other controller back there... that's a reference image... and yes, I know it's not 100% ACCURATE... it's damn close enough. (and yes, I plan on redoing the Dpad) |

Holy hell, that's sick. My suggestions include: All Super Mario Bros., Kirby's Adventure, Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong (?), Kid Icarus, Metroid, Excitebike, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!. Maybe Fire Emblem and Mother, too. If they could possibly be translated, that is... I honestly don't know how many I just listed. |

 ^^ lol how I have the mario label fixed in this render...  ^^but not in this one I'm pretty sure I've shown that last render to you guys before, but the one before it is all the games I made ages ago... the backs of them all have the corresponding stickers/warning labels too... so... yea. I'm probably going to end up remaking them... again... or trying to port my Maya made cart over...  The main difference is that the first carts have that bumpy part on the left side actually modeled in... while the second set doesn't. The second set uses one texture for the entire cartridge... while the first set uses seven textures per cartridge. the NES controller uses one texture for the entire cartridge... really simple too which reminds me... if anyone has a NES controller and a scanner... could you scan the backside of it for me? It'd be greatly appreciated. |

Yayz... Still don't have a final list of maps but... yea  That's in Halo btw... there will be animated scenery objects (barrels of course) that'll roll down the ramps and KILL YOU |
